Gift a membership

With gift cards, you can share a Divvy membership with anyone who has access to Divvy in Chicago. If your recipient doesn't have a Divvy account yet, they can create an account for free and then redeem the Divvy gift card from their account.

Gift certificates cover the membership, but does not cover any extra time charges the recipient may incur. So even if they're redeeming a gift certificate, they must keep an active credit or debit in their account.

Divvy gift cards are redeemable in the US only. Divvy memberships purchased as gifts can only be used within the Divvy service area.

Divvy gift cards apply a membership to a Divvy account. To redeem a gift card, you can click the button in the gift card email you received or enter the code manually.

2. Tap the menu icon and select Annual membership.
3. Tap Join now.
4. Tap Enter promo code and enter your gift code accessible from your email.
5. Tap Activate.
6. Your membership will activate immediately and you can start enjoying your benefits.

1. Once purchased, Divvy gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be used for cash, and cannot be resold.
2. Gift card codes will not expire and can be redeemed by the recipient at any time. Once a gifted membership is added to a Divvy account, it cannot be transferred.

If your gift recipient is already a Divvy member, they'll need to cancel their current membership in their app or through their account on the Divvy website, then let it expire. After expired, they'll be able to redeem their gifted membership.

When you purchase a digital gift card for a friend or family member, you'll receive an email containing your receipt and the link to the gift card information. If your recipient doesn't receive an email with their gift card information, you'll be able to re-send them the gift card link. The code is valid until it is redeemed.
